Dec 26 Update: here are some pics...
This is how glorious I felt afterwards... in the background to the left you can see part of the old medieval city walls of Rhodes, Greece and the pier.
The swimming event took place in the commercial harbour, where such activities are verboten (if you are German!)... 
We were just outside on of the gates to the old town and, we can imagine, were quite the sight... my sis tells me I was practically stopping traffic at one point... hee hee!

Still an awesome experience a week later... we both feel it was an iconic experience of both our trips...

It was lovely meeting the both of you up on the Acropolis. I hope you fully enjoyed your stay in Athens as I did. It's such a shame that I met you on my last - and only real "site" seeing - day, since my first two days were bank holidays. My stay was very short but well worth the trip. Love these photos - it must have felt spiritually awakening in a way. I can't help but recall some early feminist artists like Ana Mendieta when I see the goddess/nature images. Absolutely lovely & empowering!
I'll send through some images that I took of the two of you. Where are you off to next?
